5:48 pm	Velvet Remi She said that she could not wait to actually go to the hair salon. Our hair stylist was almost as excited as my daughter when I called to place the order and make the appointment for my daughter’s hair to be done. While I was on the phone, I told the hair stylist that instead of having the velvet remi weaves sewn in, I thought that it would be better to have her attach them with bonding glue. I explained that I was not sure that my daughter would be able to manage sitting still for the amount of time that it would take for her to sew in the weaves. I have had other types of weaves sewn into my hair, but until recently, I did not think that I could really afford to purchase remi weaves. Some of my friends told me that they had seen remi weaves at various salons priced close to two hundred dollars for only four ounces. It would cost quite a bit of money for me to put as much on my head as I usually did with the less expensive human hair weaves, so I never bothered to look closely at the remi weaves. Last week, I got my tax refund and decided that I was going to splurge some of the money on myself by purchasing my first remi weaves. My younger sister worked at a salon and she was always willing to help me with my hair, so I did not need to worry about paying to have the weaves sewn into my hair. I started looking online at the various choices of remi weaves. I wanted to compare the prices of various brands and try to find remi weaves that were close in color to my own natural hair, but several inches longer like the other human hair weaves that I usually wore. I was totally amazed at what I saw. I found the perfect color and length of remi weaves for less than fifty dollars. I guess that instead of doing a price comparison through the internet, my friends only looked at the ones sold at the salons. I could get enough to do my entire head for a lot less than I thought I would be spending. While I was at that web site, I also ordered the weaving thread and a curved needle because I wanted to have my remi weaves sewn in so that they would last longer and be easier to manage. I called my sister to set up a time when we could get together for her to sew in my new remi weaves. My remi weaves arrived within the week and they were absolutely gorgeous. After my sister finished sewing them in, I called my friends and arranged to meet them at a local restaurant for dinner. I did not tell them that I purchased the remi weaves because I wanted to see their reactions when I told them how inexpensive they were. There are four different types of hair weaves which are grouped by the type of hair that is used to make them. Here is a little information about velvet remi weaves, human hair weaves, synthetic hair weaves, and animal hair weaves. The velvet remi weaves are the most expensive because they are made entirely of human hair strands that still have the cuticle intact. That is because when they are attached to your head the water in the shower can run through them in the proper direction and they will not get tangled as easily as they would if you washed them in a basin of water. Not only do I like going to her to have my hair done because it is less expensive, but I also like that we are able to talk about anything since it is usually just us in the salon when she puts in my remi weaves. My mom, which was her sister, passed away when I was little and my aunt has always been the person that I go to when something is on my mind. She never had any kids, so I think that she really likes our close bond, too. While she was putting in my remi weaves, I had a special subject that I wanted to discuss with her. My boy friend had asked me to marry him. My aunt was thrilled to hear my news and thought that I was going to ask her to fix my hair for the wedding. I had a more important question for her. I asked her if she would be my maid-of-honor. I was glad that we were alone in her salon because we were both in tears within a minute of my asking that. It was hard for her to work on my remi weaves, so she took a break and we talked about my wedding plans. Before we realized it, the afternoon was gone and she had only put in half of my remi weaves. When I asked her what she meant, she told me that we were basically fighting a losing battle by trying to reattach the remi weaves that had come loose because they were even more likely to come loose with every additional reattachment using the bonding glue and eventually there would be too much build up of bonding glue to hold them well at all. I was rather upset when she told me this, but the thing that she said next was even worse. She told me that the build up of the bonding glue that she used looked like it was causing damage to my remi weaves. The virgin Indian velvet remi weaves are made from hair that has never been subjected to any type of chemical treatments such as coloring or perms and that is why they are denoted as being made of virgin hair strands. It is difficult to harvest this type of hair because many women of today’s society are fashion conscious and like to style their hair with various chemical products.
